Our air conditioner went out on the weekend and we were in the hospital having a baby. Called Mitchell Cooling and Heating and they rearranged their schedule to be able to come replace our entire unit first thing Monday morning. By that night we had a new heating and cooling unit and the house felt great.Very thankful for their quick response. Customer service was excellent

The technician arrived at my house and I was not feeling well. We had returned home from being out of town and the air conditioner was running but the air was not cold. Told him where the units were, he found them, fixed the problem and then came and told it was done and what the cost was. I was elated that he considered that I just needed it fixed, quickly and easily and I then went to rest peacefully knowing the air was fixed and the house would be cool again soon. Would highly recommend this Company.

The technician quickly diagnosed and repaired the cause of a whistling noise in main A/C intake vent. This noise was so annoying!I had two other companies look into this prior to Mitchell Heating & Air, and neither of them diagnosed or eliminated the cause of the noise.I am very grateful Mitchell H&A was able to resolve the problem quickly, and I'll definitely call them again when I need services.

We had a failure of our emergency shut off valve which allowed for the overflow of water in our AC system that was running all day due to some work being done on our house. The water overflowed into our house ruining our upstairs flooring and some drywall in a closet. Our system was installed by Mitchell Mechanical and under their warranty. So, per their instructions, our system was maintained. However, there was a clog in the overflow pipe for condensation drainage which caused the drain pain to fill up with 3 gallons of water. The emergency shutoff switch failed and they per GA requirements did not hook up our emergency pipe that was originally installed when we had our house built. Mitchell Mechanical replaced the shut off switch and unplugged our condesation drain. However, when I requested to speak with the manager, I did, but then I wanted to speak with the owner to obtain payment for my insurance deductible and he never called back.I have been a customer for over 7 years and find this practice of ignoring your customers when the equipment your company installed fails and causes thousands of dollars in damage to be cowardly and shameful.It seems to be the way of the world when dealing with companies throughout the state of GA. From car washes to healthcare systems and HVAC companies. Buyer beware.Today is March 20, 2024. The manager at Mitchell Mechanical, Bill did reach out to me and made things right. I really appreciate what he did. I’m still a customer and thankful for their service to my home.

I’ve been using Mitchell for a few years now. However, after hearing a lot of things about another company, I decided to give them a try. Big mistake. Huge mistake. They were not cool, and only masters at lying if you catch my drift. 😉The other company spent about 10 minutes checking out my unit, and quickly jumped to the conclusion that my 6 year old unit took a total poop, and I needed a new one at the low price of $13k. They were really pushy on financing right then and tried convincing me this was an investment…… right. When I mentioned paying cash they tried pushing financing even harder which grossed me out.I called my normal guys at Mitchell and was pleased as usual. The technician spent about 30 minutes diagnosing and troubleshooting my unit. It was a rainy day and he made it a point to take off his boots and carry them through my house. He was respectful and informative. He diagnosed my unit and was able to provide a solution that was less than a quarter of the replacement price.Installation of the new part was quick and professional. My technician explained the whole process and was also respectful of my home. I’m annoyingly inquisitive but the technician was more than happy to educate me through the process. Overall a 10/10 experience every time I deal with Mitchell. I’ll never cheat on you again I promise 🫠

Mitchell Mechanical was able to get a new HVAC within two days at a great price considering the two other quotes we received. They were on time, efficient with the install. The technicians were great! Customer service was great, returned calls timely. This type of customer service is rare these days!

This is my second house with Mitchell Mechanical and I've been in it for over twenty years. We had to replace both units after about 15 years. We have been doing business with Mitchell for appx 31 years and have found them to be responsive and helpful at every interaction. The office staff is great at calling us back whenever we have to leave a message at off-hours as well as for emergency issues which have been infrequent but do happen. I have always felt like you have done an excellent job. However, I was concerned about the man who came this past fall. He was so quick I ask him about it. He said as he held up a filter, "Yes all we need do in the fall is change the filter". I remember going back in the house and saying to my lady, "That was the quickest I've ever experienced." But everything seems to be working just fine so I really can't complain.
